Khalistan Pakistan

Khalistan Pakistan
The devout always look forward to conforming to the core teachings of their faiths. All of them teach amity and harmony, with faith in God. This must obviously lead to leading lives freely according to their faiths.
In Hindu belief it is called Ram Rajya. Gurbani concept is:

Rākanhār apār parab ā kī nirmal sev.  Rām rāj Rāmās pur kīnĥe gurev. ||1|| rahā▫o.

(Apaar) the Infinite (prabh) Almighty is (raakhaanhaar) the protector; (ta ki) IT’s (seyv) service/obedience is (nirmal = pure) good, i.e. fruitful.

(Gurdev = great guru) the Almighty (keenhey = does) arranges (raam = almighty, raaj = rule) rule by compassion in (pur-i) the habitat of, i.e. wherever (raamdaas = servants of the Almighty) the devotees are. 1.

(Rahaau) pause and reflect on this.

So the concept of Khalistan is based on compassion.
Khalistan and Pakistan are synonyms meaning ‘land of the pure’.
The Indian Muslim philosopher-poet Allama Iqbal had great love for amity and unity in India. Here are two quotes for that
1. Saarey jahaa’n sey achhaa Hindostan hamara; hum bulbley’n hai is ki yih gulistaan hamara.
Our India is the best of amongst all countries of the world. We are its nightingales and it is our garden.
2. Phir aakhir utthi sadaa toheed ki Punjab sey. Hind ko ik mardey kaamal ney jagaaiaa khwaab sey.
Ultimately a call for unity emanated from Punjab. An accomplished man woke India from slumber. This was a tribute to Guru Nanak.
This demonstrates his love for unity and amity.
He put forward the idea for Pakistan, the land of the pure in 1930. It fructified in 1947, nine years after his death in 1938. It resulted in division of India which he would never have meant as is clear from his writings. Partition of India was accompanied by frenzied killings on both sides of the new borders both in West and East of India. I personally watched all this when we were told to leave the town of Arifwala in Montgomery district of what is now Pakistan Punjab. We walked on feet for six days sleeping on bare ground at night and getting little to eat. I saw bodies flowing in canals and people people with legs cut off lying by the side of the road. There was a body with intestines lying over it. Humanism had fled.
All this was because senseless fanatics on both sides spread hate based on religion.
Situation on Pakistan side was more tragic. Senior leaders inflamed tempers. The Prime Minister, Mr Liaqat Ali Khan adopted the ‘clenched fist’ policy, and he was himself killed by charged up people. The situation has only been worsening. The country is now in grey list for terror funding and threatened with being put on the black list.
However, a mini Khalistan was also seen. The town of Malerkotla in Indian Punjab which had plenty of Muslims, remained untouched by mob fury. The Punjabis in general, and Sikhs in particular, protected the Muslim families. This was thanksgiving for the Nawab of Malerkotla having opposed execution of the two younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh Sahib.
Guru Nanak’s Sikhi has no place for hate and killing of innocent people. For the Sikh:
Soora so pahchaaneeai jo larai deen key heyt. Kabir Ji, p 1105.
A brave person is one who fights for the sake of the vulnerable.
Hope to continue.
