(Jat-i) wherever they (jaat jaat jaat) go (kaal = death) Divine justice (haee = is present) watches their deeds (sadaa sada sadaa) forever.

mānu mānu mānu tiāgi miratu miratu nikaṭi nikaṭi sadā haī. hari harē harē bhāju kahatu nānaku sunahu rē mūṛ binu bhajan bhajan bhajan ahilā janamu gaī.੨.੫.

O human being, (tiaag-i) give up (maan-u maan-u man-u) self-importance – stop acting by self-will; remember (mirat-u mirat-u) death (haee) is (sadaa) ever (nikatt-i nikatt-i) near – may come anytime, so remember and obey Divine commands.

(Kahat) says fifth Nanak: (Sunh-u) listen (rey) o (moorr = foolish) thoughtless human being; (bhaaj) praise and obey (har-i harey harey) God; (janam-u) human birth – the opportunity to find God – (gaee = goes) is wasted (bin-u) without (bhajan bhajan bhajan) invoking the Almighty. 2. 5. 50. 12. 62.
